I though a few umpiring decisions in the last played a big part in it swinging back Kilburn's way, especially the ran to far from the Salisbury bloke at the half back flank after selling some pretty good candy to a Kilburn player, the Ump pinged him pretty quick for the ran to far, thought he hadn't to be honest. Though Matty Whealan played a huge role in the last to win some crucial clearnaces. And the goal Mccallum kicked from the pocket to put Kilburn up by 3 points late in the last was a beauty.
Gotta feel bad for the Salisbury club as a whole, a rough day at the office. Always next year, good luck to both teams who put on a good show today.
Really? Wat about no 23 that ran Bout 5 meters, kicked a goal and got pinged? Footy goes both ways. Kilburn fought hard for everything they got and deserve the rewards!!!
Your talking about the Salisbury 23 who got pinged, I was talking about a Salisbury player who got pinged to, not sure what your point is, unless it is too agree that the umps where pretty trigger happy at times. Kilburn definately deserved it in the end, 3 goals in the last 5-6 minutes was fantastic, Definitely a great day and night as a Kilburn person. But if you read what I wrote it was that I thought the umpiring in the last swung the momentum as Salisbury were well and truly on top 10 minutes into the last 1/4

There were two frees given where the guy supposedly ran too far one for Salisbury and one for Kilburn, cancelled each other out really. I thought that a breif brain fade from number 8 at Salisbury hurt them in the third when Kilburn was awarded a 25 and they kicked a goal against the wind, for a wet day I thought there were some good grabs and clean hands too!

History shows they do well in Div5. Had a horror run with injuries (coupled with the defections to Glenunga) made for a bad year. Heard from a Fitzroy committeeman that some Glenunga boys will be coming back to Fitzroy, not sure if true but he was very confident when telling me.Think they will be very good personally
