I understand that SFL is hoping to lock in finals venues for all grades by Friday and probably release something next week.

Cheers DTH.

Given the posts in other threads, more notably hills central and the condition of the Bridgwater oval, how are the grounds in the SFL faring?

In the GSFL the old Mclaren Vale swamp was pretty heavy on the weekend as were a few of the other grounds, given the amount of rain probably only fair.

A low score at Lonsdale, assuming the surface there would be pretty average? How about Brighton and the cenre square? I guess most of the other grounds seem to drain / hold up pretty well these days.

Was told Lonsdale's oval isnt much better than Bridgewater's oval at the moment, barely a blade of glass on it.

I was at the yank v willunga game sat and the yank oval was amazing. On the way home I drove past lonsdale and saw how bad the oval was and thought they were playing Christie's to only find out later it was actually the shoes. Flaggy oval is still doing ok the only problem is the cockies chewing it up in a few sections but overall it's better than previous years

Would be a waste of money getting a spray tan if you're just going to get dirty.

Any truth in the rumours that Backwell is out for the year with a knee injury?

Maybe you could ask shoe boy to help you with that problem, then again there oval has taken a fair flogging in the last few years. I recall around late 90's early 00's it was immaculate, one of the best country/suburban decks going around.

Little bit more rain overnight and today could make things interesting for the weekend, shoes by under 10 goals?

MORPHETTVILLE PARK vs HACKHAM- Roo boys by 16 goals at the pasty.
OSB/LONSDALE vs NOARLUNGA - Shoes by 9 goals on the heavy Lonny track

Noarlunga too good for us yesterday but we gave them a tough/hard match! Oval held up better than expected.

A very important win for Reynella in what was a pretty good game to watch. Have a very hard run to the finals though playing all the teams above them on the ladder in the next 4 weeks. If they can win a couple then they'll play finals.
Cove without Vick and Button tried hard but couldnt kick two goals in a row and Reynella had them covered most of the day.
