My point is if you know you have players/supporters/situations at your club that are known issues you take action before a serious incident occurs. Agreed, anyone can do something stupid and out of character, but thats not what I'm talking about.

DIV 3: Kilburn's wins wiped.
The former division one powerhouse, which won the division-two grand final against Salisbury last year, will likely have to win 11 of the remaining 13 games to make the finals.

It stopped just after the Advertiser / Sunday Mail started printing names in their papers.
There are privacy issues, especially if a player is reported but found not guilty. It wont stop the newspapers calling for his head even though he may be innocent.
As the League recently found out, they do not print the truth even if you put it in print to them.
You only need to look at this little gem:DIV 3: Kilburn's wins wiped.
The former division one powerhouse, which won the division-two grand final against Salisbury last year, will likely have to win 11 of the remaining 13 games to make the finals.
First club to win a Div 2 Grand Final and get dropped to Div 3
The League even wrote to them pointing out several errors and they have chosen not to correct anything

it is what it is..if it happens it should be listed as it has always has been since the website was up or else you are just hiding away from the truth and keeping information from clubs..it looks like they are running scared and no-one believes no reports are committed each week so the question then becomes.."what are they hiding?"..they are actually creating more rumours and innuendo by not listing them..

An incident happens and clubs act all tough and try to remove themselves from the player and incident. Ingle Farm bring in security etc, Gepps ban a player .... Obviously this is very much preferable to doing nothing, but it seems it is more about clubs saving face than to rule out violence.
If clubs really wanted to stamp this shit out they would be taking anticipatory preventative measures. I can guarantee with just about complete certainty that NO clubs have removed a player from their club with a history of poor behaviour since the SAAFLs 'crack down on violence' in anticipation of doing something stupid that will put another players health and safety in jepordy.
This Gepps guy (according to previous posts) is a known hero, Ingle Farm had a bloke willing to bring out a knife at a footy game (and he didn't even initiate the problem!). Surely these people doing something stupid has not blown anyones mind. It would be a bloody rare occurance that someone without any history snaps one day and king hits some one, it is unfortunate when a club is put in this position.
BUT WHICH CLUBS HAVE TAKEN STEPS TO PREVENT AN INCIDENT BEFORE IT OCCURS!? I bet none.

Even worse how they just ignore how a waterboy was throwing punches as well, who is an a grade player for gg but I won't name his name because I'm not 100% certain sure, good to see him run off after and take his top off class act.there , apologies to him how his sunnies got broken thou
Apparently to the saafl a rose does smell different if it has another name

Were you at the tribunal hearing? Do you know how it progressed? Was evidenced heard in a fair and unbiased manner?
If your frustrated, fair enough but stake a claim with some evidence.
Remind yourself how the incident started. The tribunal results may say otherwise but don't think your club is squeaky clean. I find much irony in your last sentence. We will cop the penalty and get on with it. Tidy your own back yard
Apart from that ugly incident that involved players from both sides, i quite enjoyed giving your side a schooling.

And if the water runner was throwing punches (very incorrect) and stripping off his top (so that another person could run water in the official white top) which was done after he was sent off by the umpires for being involved in the chaos, and rightly so. He deserved to be sent off.... don't you think this would have also been highlighted on the video ?? It was an ugly incident that both sides can be blamed for and no-one will ever agree and there'll always be "he said, she said"... So lets move on. None of us was at the hearing so we'll never know what went on anyway....
And FS, It's amusing how you always feel compelled to give your over-inflated opinion when it comes to issues involving GG.
Done and dusted now, we move on and play in the finals and do our best.
