Clubs can then request to access funds from pool to assist putting in decks.

Given what the locals know about the Gawler Council, would envisage that neither South or Centrals would ever have turf decks.

R11 - Lost to Nuriootpa by 3 runs.
R10 - Lost to Gilbert Valley by 11 runs
R9 - Lost to Freeling by 21 runs
R8 - Lost to Angaston by 27 runs
Speaking of youngsters playing A Grade cricket do Gawler Central players Chris Bilney, Dave Miller, Matt Ness, Matt Perry or Jordan Shephard qualify for that list?

Does Jordan Shepherd even play for your club?

Does anyone know the approximate initial outlay to get a turf deck set up and the annual costs?
Considering the Gawler Council initially wanted to charge the Sporting Club an absurd hourly rate to use the current facilities at the Dog Track, I dont think the club management would want to take the risk of spending the time and money to get a turf deck up and running only to have the council increase the rent!
For what it's worth, South should upgrade their pitch to a decent width. Their footy club should also take a break from paying footballers four-figure weekly amounts and upgrade their bloody away changerooms!

But yes the pitch widening should be a condition of their return to A1's

Moving sometime in the future is not an excuse.

He wasn't available last match...lets not jump to any conclusions or start any rumours

So the club has done some serious sucking up to get him back after he spat it at being left out for a bloke that has never played for the club before.
Hope Solly makes himself available for every week from now on.

What about if we lose a day or 2 to weather, would the association grant special permission for him to play finals?

Where would you be moving to Jim and any time frame known? There is a serious lack of ovals in Gawler and the Barossa generally. The Xavier ground is not great (even though it is used in the lower grades), whilst the pitch covering is downright dangerous (there is a join and a massive hole right on a good length. Something for Extractor to aim for if he finds himself down there). Possible expansion of Xavier is mooted for the near future, so there's another ground that may become unavailable
