Gee thats all the A-League need, another slow hack of a defender.

Only saw the game from around 50 mins and looked for the remainder of the game like one of those occasions where a team looked capable of scoring every time it attacked. MV will put it down as one of those games with some key personnel missing, they'll be back but have to sort out their defense in a hurry

Unfair to compare. I could put together an indoor cricket side that would win a flag straight away but the AFL might be a bit more difficult.

How can you compare winning a flag in a major national competition vs a pretend surburban sport. I dont see indoor cricket televised and promoting any player getting paid $2m+ for a seasons work.
From some loose research, no team anywhere around the world has won a national competition of a global sport in their debut year.
There is no real reason why A League should be different to AFL. Both are salary capped and WSW and GWS have both built teams from scratch in the same Western Sydney area and both have the same demographic to work with.
