Adelaide is a good place to live. There is stuff to do if you look, and if its not here, its $90 and a couple of hours to get to Melbourne.

4 years or 80,000 km for passenger cars, went up from 2 year 40,000 a few years ago, commercial vehicles can be longerkickinit wrote:Jase wrote:Has anyone bought a car from the SA government auctions at Pickles and are they a good deal?
depends on the car but yeh you can get a good deal. they are usually work on a year or km's, so say 3 years 200,000 and then they go to auction. You can pick some low km's car at good prices. Always serviced and fixed when needed so shouldn't be any problems there.

I know fleet cars use to be 3 years as my old man would get a new one every 3 years. never knew they km's as he never reached them. the ones you want are the office people cars as their km's are always low compared to someone on the road.
