So help me out here guys is this like a Div 6 side beating a Div1res or something totally new ;)

Dreaming ;) .

didnt M.P post last year that they had several players who could walk into a div 1 ressie side

And they still would!

As has been stated, time and time again, heck I even drew a graph for it, the difference between the divisions is not the top 5 players, its the bottom 5.

Can't believe i'm going to do this.. but.. I agree with you Morell, and I think you do have players who easily could.

With the exception of BN there are at least four ahead of the other two lads.
Two of them could quite comfortably hold an A grade spot.
Your in for a shock.

Hold an A grade spot - probably
Hold an A grade spot at Ingle Farm this season - possibly
GET an A grade spot - highly unlikely

Would imagine there is a long que of players lining up chomping at the bit to get a shot in the A grade, and those who are in the side are not exactly putting a foot wrong..

Don't know who you are Robb, but you can fish with BS all you like mate. Couldn't be bothered responding to my question earlier buddy.
FYI, all A Graders train every night, if they don't they are either working, sick or in the changerooms getting treatment. A Grade 6-0, B grade 5-1, C grade 4-2 and even the girls are 2-2. Not too many unhappy people at IFFC ATM Robb. How's things at Greenacres, oh thats right, you don't come from there do you. ;)

Your information has been twisted R_S. In front of me I have training attendances of every session for every player who has trained at IF since November & the number of recent non-attendees without the courtesy & requirement of a call or message is miniscule.

There may well be some disgruntled B Grade players would like to play A Grade, and there are many who are worthy, but they also may not be aware why someone has missed training. We regularly have 60+ players on the track, let alone those in the medical room.

As with every club, we have players who work evenings which can not be avoided. As we have found largely this year, their non-attendance has resulted in fitness & form dropping, and there have been some regular players demoted for that reason. When they have got back to fitness and their form is good in the lower grade, they have earnt their spot back in the higher grade team.

I can assure you, nobody is getting a free ride.

Like who? :? If someone is unhappy coz they aren't playing A grade they are probably best looking at themselves and asking what and whose spot they deserve to take.. whilst sides continue to perform it will continue to be hard to break into team above.

Angle Vale would smash the best U16's side in the state by 20 goals and probably leave half the team requiring x-rays. We're talking 15 year olds. 15!. Some of them might not even have hair in funny places yet!

U18's might be slightly different story but I wold still back a Senior side.

Unbelievable comment.

Totally agree Morell (did i just say that  ). We have 3 of our best u/16 playing senior football and none of them are looking like cracking a spot in the A grade. However i do agree on the gap from 6 to 7 as we have found out and i'm sure Mitchell Park would agree. Sometimes it's better for a club to face where they should be, go back regroup and use that as a spring board for future success. We have structured 2013 around Yankmans formula for success which surely can't go wrong ;) . Seriously, it is round 7 coming up and that is all anyone in A or B grade at IFFC is focussed on atm. Long way to go before anything is won or lost in 2013.

You don't have the best 3 playing OF,far from it.

No shock coming Beero cock. We would not be doing our job if we were not aware of what was in the U16's. BN and JB are the best 2 in the 16's and they would not make our A Grade ATM and would be 5th or 6th in line to come in. Yes they are great players, especially Jimmy. Maybe you not catching everything hiding in the bushes on a Saturday. Anyway, you have your opinion, and i'll hold it where i think it deserves to be.

Mate, your forgetting BC the North lad. Would walk in.

Henley
- div 7 - 1W 5L 27.91%
- div 7R - 6W 0L 76.1%

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck and quacks like a duck

The D grade is travelling better than the A and B grade too, Esteban... based on your logic the D's would beat Henley A grade too.

Modbury D grade 2011 and Adelaide Uni D grade 2010. Just saying... Looks like a duck

I'm assuming that Ingle Farm would be happy with nothing less than a 20-25 goal plus win over the div 7 whipping boys from the past few years, the crabs on their home deck this Saturday?

If people don't want to talk about IF, raise another topic for discussion.

Coming in and saying - "I am sick of hearing about IF" - only exacerbates the perceived problem I would have thought.

I for one would like to hear how Angle Vale are going. They have been very, very quiet on here...
