Not that it changes things, but the kick was about 30-35 out... Soon we will hear it was a 80m torp ;)

Also Straight Line - about time you updated your Club from Flaggy to Hackham?

Yeh reppoh_eht it was about 75 to 80 out (on the boundry in the dead pocket)

My lad plays at flaggies and have a close mate at the Hawks

Is there an archive for scores prior to season 2011 somewhere? Wouldn't mind looking back on some previous years!

Tips time again.....match of the round is a toss up between Reynella vs Noarlunga and Brighton vs Cove. Vikings face the last team that defeated them, but can't see it happening this time.

Christies vs Aldinga- Saints by 150
Flagstaff vs Marion- Bushpigs by 60
Morphy Park vs Edwardstown- Roos by 28
OSB vs Morphett Vale- Emus by 120
Pt Noarlunga vs Happy Valley- Vikings by 50
Reynella vs Noarlunga- Reynella by 21
Brighton vs Cove- Cove by 11

Hackham still has a week to celebrate their win over the Bushpigs.

Another thriller for the Roos. 20 points down going into the last quarter and kicking into a 3-4 goal breeze. Mark ROOwoldt marks 35 out in front and has a shot after the siren. Roos win by 4 points. Great win and have got a never giving up attitude that has got them over the line the last 2 weeks.

The away room at Reynella  The only positive about such as small space is the acoustics are better when singing the club song ;)

Apparently Comer and Golding had to sing the song from outside becasue not enough room for them in the Reynella away room.

Some people are still carrying on about the need for 2 Divisions etc. but what about focussing on the most even SFL season we have had for many years. Some of the mixed results of Noarlunga, Porties, Townies, Morphies, Reynella, Cove and Brighton whilst Morphett Vale and Christies have been flying under the radar but with some key games coming up has made it the most intriguing season for years. Every side who makes the 8 this year will truly earn their spot and no-one will be making up the numbers. Happy Valley remain flag favourites but don't look quite as invincible as they were in the early part of the season noting their draw against Morphy Park plus wins against Reynella and Porties with less and the same scoring shots. Some more big games this week. I'll offer one early tip.

Noarlunga to beat Christies Beach by a split decision !!!!

Porties were very good for 3/4 on Saturday, but didn't finish their work off. Valley were able to step it up in the last quarter and completely blow them away. Has been a bit of a theme this year and one that Valley need to iron out before finals.
I agree it's been an interesting season for results, but not much different with the bottom 4 other than Hackham's win over Flaggies providing a rare highlight.

Nice try Vics but Porties play Aldinga this week and should progress to 5 wins and one of Flaggies and Brighton will also progress to 5 wins (unless they have a draw) so even if Hackham (currently 3 wins) win their next 2 (which is likely) they will still be outside the 8 by hefty percentage. I'm surprised someone who continually bleats about the uneven draw would even raise this.

As a Reynella person the visitors room are a disgrace. The width was changed from the agreed plan, under instruction from a previous coach, at the last minute.
If it was me playing as a visitor i'd use it as motivation.

Agree. As a player it should just be a spur to get out of there as quick as possible and get the job done.
I don't believe that most players are that precious that they really care, as long as they can have a shower without freezing to death or getting an infection.

Not saying I agree with the draw as I don't. I think is a disgrace that in community football the SFL has such an uneven fixture given the vagaries of club finances and players moving for work and other things. However it is what it is at present and will be until the SFL moves to a 12 team comp. in the future.

Certainly be a few clubs worried about finishing below the Hawks though. Flaggies look to have the hardest run home might be lucky to win 1 of the next 8 games, Porties run is not easy either. Bombers and Cove look to have the easiest run home out of the 4 clubs fighting for 8th position.

OK I will bite. Do pray tell how you see this being achieved.
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Apparently some awkward moments after the Morphies/Edwardstown game last weekend, both directly after the game, and during the presentation of the McGuire/Thomas Cup.

I would have thought that the last quarter free kick count of 13 to 1 was more of an awkward moment for some ?

Hey 1919, your blokes gave up a 20 pt three-quarter time lead kicking to the end that 17 out of 22 goals had been kicked in the first 3 quarters. That is the most awkward fact of all.
