Some people are still carrying on about the need for 2 Divisions etc. but what about focussing on the most even SFL season we have had for many years. Some of the mixed results of Noarlunga, Porties, Townies, Morphies, Reynella, Cove and Brighton whilst Morphett Vale and Christies have been flying under the radar but with some key games coming up has made it the most intriguing season for years. Every side who makes the 8 this year will truly earn their spot and no-one will be making up the numbers. Happy Valley remain flag favourites but don't look quite as invincible as they were in the early part of the season noting their draw against Morphy Park plus wins against Reynella and Porties with less and the same scoring shots. Some more big games this week. I'll offer one early tip.
Noarlunga to beat Christies Beach by a split decision !!!!
Porties were very good for 3/4 on Saturday, but didn't finish their work off. Valley were able to step it up in the last quarter and completely blow them away. Has been a bit of a theme this year and one that Valley need to iron out before finals.
I agree it's been an interesting season for results, but not much different with the bottom 4 other than Hackham's win over Flaggies providing a rare highlight.
