No matter what he was told by dank or anyone involved at Essendon unless he can prove he was unconscious when the substance was administered he is up shit creek
Firstly i think you get the impression I actually agree with all this, I am far from that. If I had my way i would of handed a life ban on all the idiots for even considering taking a substance thats not fit for human use.
It is the ruling that it is his responsibility, to some extent. There is cases were a athlete can be excused from this, mind you very rare and very very hard to prove. But the S0 category that it falls under is basically any substance that hasn't been approved by any Government health authority for human use. So at the moment I think you would find that ASADA and WADA would be dotting their i and crossing their t to make sure that they get this decision 100% correct. It's not as simple as it would be with just 1 players. Your talking a entire club and not just players you've got coaches, doctors, scientist and basically anyone that had any idea about what was going on. You think how much Essendon are set to lose if pretty much the entire club is given a sentence, then on the flip side think how much ASADA would be sued for if Essendon found a loophole in their system.
We're on this journey together, One Heart, One Club and they will Never Ever Tear Us Apart.
