They replay with something like "Beaufort".

Last time I checked, Beaufort never had an AFL side.

Similarly I was driving around last week and I saw a sign saying “Come and try NRL” I thought Adelaide must have started a new side or something :)

Pretty sure we've had this convo before, I'm heading out with some mates to play NBA this afternoon.

I think I played roughly my 500th Test match on Saturday making yet another Test match 50

Some questionable field placements here. Two back for the hook and Mid Off isn't even watching.

I'm calling 4 behind square.

No ball.

Ring my old man this morning, I can hear the wind blowing "Shore to ship" I say "Shore to ship"

"Ship to shore" comes the reply.

"Blueys?"

"Yep"

"Bagged out?"

"Yeah, but just gave 8 to some lads in a tinny nearby who hadn't got many".

"WHAT THE ****?"

"You're breaking up, need to get back to the nets, see ya soon"

Especially when it is virtually impossible to hit the ball behind square.

Some frosty ales in the fridge would have gone perfectly with them at around 6 tonight.

I've mentioned this before, but even getting chatted to by a good looking ch1ck in a pub in Canberra, didn't deter me from standing ground. The conversation went something like this;

Her - do you play AFL?
Me - ahh, no.
Her - so you play NRL?
Me - no
Her - so what do you play
Me - Aussie Rules
Her (exit, stage left)

I embrace it, love the fact I've played AFL, EPL, MLB, NBA and have also dabbled at the Olympics, I also enjoy driving my F1 car to work when not Moto GPing my 49 cyclinder bike there.
Only Tour De Franced as a kid though. Grew out of that.

You sure you weren't being chatted up by Snagglepuss?

Yours is only one less quote than his.

Does that makes yours 1/3rd less annoying?
