So I'll ask them "which club?"

They replay with something like "Beaufort".

Last time I checked, Beaufort never had an AFL side.

Similarly I was driving around last week and I saw a sign saying “Come and try NRL” I thought Adelaide must have started a new side or something

I've mentioned this before, but even getting chatted to by a good looking ch1ck in a pub in Canberra, didn't deter me from standing ground. The conversation went something like this;

Her - do you play AFL?
Me - ahh, no.
Her - so you play NRL?
Me - no
Her - so what do you play
Me - Aussie Rules

Only Tour De Franced as a kid though. Grew out of that.
