Well Gilly is out of contract and just reported on the news (if you can believe them) that he at this stage has not been offered a new contract and no talks have been undertaken, surely not![]()

let me clarify, people are commenting that the crows have shown a lack of respect with their offer, are people aware of the table offer, I certainly am, in my opinion, it was a fair offer.
I also stand by the decision, that the crows should only offer a two year deal, rather than a three year deal.
So why have the WB offered a 3 year deal, I don't believe they feel confident with their young ruckman.
Losing Hudson creates a clear pathway and opportunity for Griffen and Maric, if I was Ivan or Jon, I would be itching for pre-season to start, they may be young, but they will develop into very good players, here is their opportunity
At the beginning of the year, many members pin pointed Adelaide's ruck division as their weakness, Hudson was competitve, however he is no Lade, Cox, McIntosh, but maybe Maric or Griffen could be the next McIntosh, they now get their opportunity......
With the retirement of Roo, the trading of Hudson and Kenny, not to mention Perrie ( 2 top 8 clubs are interested in Ian), this is an opportunity for Adelaide to re-invent their list, maybe obtain a Didak, Cameron Wood and a McMahon
This would be a very good result for the footy club

Take a look at the "Who the Crows would delist and Trade" thread
Page 1 of this thread I posted the following
Hudson, my mail is he may be keen to return to Melbourne, I would be more than happy to trade him, Biglands will be back in 2008, Maric, Griffen and Tippett provide enough young stocks.
I knew this was coming a long way out

The Crows are hamstrung by their "policy", perhaps instead of a having a policy they should have used common sense and treated every case on its merits?
Perhaps not.
