Great first half by South, but couldn’t keep the momentum up in the second, with Sturt outscoring them by 8 goals to clinch another win, by 19 points.

Don’t normally complain about umpires but that was really bad today.

disappointing loss for the Panthers but encouraging signs for the future. 8 first pick players out with injury and such a young inexperienced team on the park. Losing McCarty to concussion so early in the match didnt help, in an "interesting incident".......and also one of our players may have made contact with the debutant umpire as well....
Personally I thought the umpiring wasnt too bad, much better the the previous match v Bays..
