PORT PIRIE 23/11/07
Shame shame shame
I backed a horse called DUNYA DASH
It led and was in a photo and dead heated for first
TAB DIV $1-70

Jimmehhh Jaques the on course commentator called Dunya Dash the winner by a sMALl margin
The result a dead heat

CALAMITY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There was an electrical prob on course and no photo finish
The judge declared a dead heat
On course punters were astounded

CALAMITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Driver of DUNYA DASH Jick Dunlop alledgedly did not drive out his horse
There was an enquiry
Story hazit stewards were going to MAYBE ping Dunlop for not driving out his horse
Dunlop said they could not as he WON the ******* race.....

So I get $1-70 and not $3-40 grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

The oncourse TAB was unavailable for a few races
we live in 2007
in 1969 we put a man on the moon

there was a power failure it happens from time to time (everywhere, i just hope we don't have one here when its 40+ degrees), as for the judge well i'd suggest with no photo or vision & the judge undecided he went the safe option, unfortuneately with no power we didn't see the race so we don't know
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

MAL, ever heard of
1. No use crying over spilt milk
2. Touched, play on

We've all got hard luck stories where the result is we do our absolute, but in line with your arsey punting, something goes wrong and you still collect.[just not as much]. :butthead:

Mal seen a copy of photo finish of Pirie race which Jim J had at GDP Monday.
If you were on Dunya Dash should be celebrating. Cos photo we seen (Tee Law, Mick Crime) looked like Jaspar Dunbar may of even won!!!! So getting dead heat may of been a bonus for you.

Exhibit A[photo finish] presented by Centreman.
Thanks for clearing the matter
I was going on the chatter of a few people
In view of this evidence I will retract my insinuating post.

What happened to Jock in the stewards room ?
Is that true ?
