Always dangerous to say a team will improve with unprovens coming in and proven performance leaving.
Not saying it wont happen (as it does quite often) but dangerous none the less as quite often proves to not happen.

And I think most people who watch Norwood week and week out would know that McGuiness is the only significant loss.

topsy, i'd add bailey to that list he may be loose in defence but he gets a lot of it & charges forward making it into an attacking play imo
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Agreed, was Norwood's best player most times I saw them. Seemed like a great bloke and club man too.

Norwood should improve, but as mentioned here there is a lot of unknown about the incoming players, much will depend on how they socialize and how/if they bond together off-field.

I can't see that we would get any worse, but really only time can tell .. I think if the club is positioning itself for serious assaults in 09 or 10 onwards then they have given themself every opportunity thus far.

Think realistically the coach might be coaching for his career this season too, so that could be another added element which could ge either way.

Well put. :D
