Nah but as a supporter of a club who may be battling for a position in the five come round 23, and we miss out to the Eagles by 2 pts and they brought a player back onto the ground illegally ander the rules of Australian football and the known penalty is loss of points I for one will be p!ssed off!!
Rules are rules, and if the Eagles have broken them knowlingly or inadvertantly they should face the appropriate consequences.
If it can be attributed to an umpiring error/miscommunication well guess who is doing U/17s next week, However, it is the job of the team manager to know those rules though so the Eagles are not blameless if a rule has been broken.
I mean this is a state league competition, arguably the 2nd best in the nation it is not like we are playing an U/12s schoolboys competition...
Over to you Glen Rosser
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
