The best to steer clear of IMO:

Dakota
Montagna
Shakira (yep,I know a little Shakira)
Dude (yep,I know a Dude)
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Real people use traditional names - only the Kath & Kim set go for invented ones, or made up spellings like "Krystle" etc.

From the article:

"Parents are shunning traditional spellings for versions such as Alex-Zander, Cam'ron, Emma-Lee, Ozkah, Thaillah and Ameleiyah. "

It's a shame that the ability to achieve and maintain an erection is not correlated with intelligence.

PS - some of the comments on that article are pure comedy GOLD

My third daughters middle name is Grace..

Would have to be one of the most beautiful names around...

My other kids have Elizabeth, and my lads is Rhys & Hank (great Grandfather & Grandfather's names) as middle names

Coincidentally, my eldest daughters first name is Grace, my youngest daughters first name is Elisabeth (family history with the 's' instead of 'z'). Their respective middle names are Alice (family name on her mothers side) and Joy (my paternal grandmothers name). smac jr is Harrison Peter (Peter for his paternal grandfather, Harrison 'coz I liked it  ).

Our daughter is one year old on Wednesday. We went for Juliette Ellen.
Ellen is her mother's middle name and HER mothers .. and .. etc.

Naming after relatives is always worth consideration. Being the eldest I was always going to be named after my two grandfathers...one was Sean (Irish for John) the other John but both always called Jack. If I'd been a boy it was going to be John...but I'm not so I got christened Jacqueline...French for 'daughter of John'. I got the middle name of Ann because it seemed to be a tradition with the women on both sides of the family.

Diss....is it really a whole year ago that you were posting those gorgeous photo's of the new born ?...how time flies :D Happy birthday and she's still just as gorgeous :D

JAS

Yes, and luckily they weren't 5hite names, otherwise we'd have had to think up names all on our own.
