interesting result, (i thought he'd get either a reprimand or 1 game) a bit late i thought & he's lucky he's not in the afl he'd get a minimum of 3 games

so cd, ben got found not guilty of what ? because everyone saw him run into the back of mules' ?

Sorry only know our result.
(posted as soon as i had result)
Ben was reported for charging (I believe) - pleaded not guilty and the tribunal agreed based on evidence including TV.

there you go boys, you can run/charge into the back of a player after he's taken a mark & all you do is give a free kick & a 50 metre penalty away (if it was a 25 metre penalty it was the longest 25 of all time) but good luck to ben he has great hands & is a smart player

i believe they use to be (automatic 50 metre penalties), but they changed it because it was 'too harsh a penalty' to those players found not guilty come tuesday night, perhaps someone from 'higher up' can let us know for sure, if i'm right i'd say ben or a team mate said something

not at all, just saying how i saw it, obviously i am wrong because he was found not guilty but even you just said he ran into the back of a player (mules) taking a mark, i'm presuming you were at the game so i'll ask you my friend if it was a afl game what would have happened at the tribunal ? & i did say good luck to him

I thought he'd get a reprimand myself, after pleading guilty.

Definitely a charge culminating in late contact. Certainly worth a distance penalty. Arguably worth a report. But not worth matches. I thought he'd get a reprimand, and only then if he was unlucky.

Agreed I would have thought he was very lucky. I was expecting him to at least be found guilty and get a reprimand.

It is very hard to get found guilty in the SANFL you have to be an idiot to get a game. Ferguson was very lucky to get off that definately was a bad enough act to get a game.

Despite it being right in front of me, I missed it somehow ... One of my mates (who quite likes the argy bargy) thought it was pretty cheap and the boy would be in trouble.

Still, you prefer to see blokes playing rather than sitting on the sidelines needlessly so good luck to him.
