The Old Adelaide Gaol and a mall in the city centre (the name escapes me) are also known haunted areas.

A gentleman called Francis Cluney who was a maintenance man at the Arcade fell into the light generator and decapated himself back in 1889 (or thereabouts).

Don't know about currently, but I did see him in a deli in Parkside almost 20 years ago. Some grumpy old bastard with 4,000 kids in tow buying them ice creams holding me up when I was trying to buy a packet of smokes. He turned around and it was "Aussie Mel" looking frazzled and ready to belt someone/something.

I had a mate that was living out the back of a mansion in Unley for very cheap rent. The little hole he had was a classic place. Possibly servants quarters from decades ago.
Apparently the entire property (very big) was owned by family of Mel Gibson and not often used.

Yep, owned by Yasser Shahin and family, who also own all the BP on the runs.

On Shahin I've also heard that he owns most of the servo's in Melbourne too. Supposedly he owns all of the BP's here and leases them the licence. Also owns all of the Smokemart's and Subway's.

I've heard that the empire started with one servo on Kilkenny Road that did not make money and have heard from a builder of one of his church's on Port Road an interesting story on where all the money came from.

Shahin Enterprises? The guy with the turban?

Actually, on Kilkenny Road, I think that's quite odd there are two BP service stations there, with nothing else around. He owns them both?

There is one worth quite abit that Yasser owns, and one next door worth a similar amount that his dad owns, one has an indoor Olympic sized swimming pool on the ground level.

As for the rest of the family, well one of Yassers cousins drives a Porsche (as his everyday road car) that had an original purchase price of over $250,000, and the bloke only works 3 hours a fortnight.

Every AFL umpire that gets a game at Footy Park is a Victorian  this despite the fact details are posted on the board before the game!

Every decision at Footy Park against the home team is wrong  !

The AFL is some new league that appeared from nowhere and is not the same competition that was previously called the VFL in an expanded form.!

The myth about the 2 old scholars sides who, on a very wet Saturday, went to the pub instead. They agreed the scores best players etc. The umpire was in on it as well (for an afternoon of free beer) I heard about it many times but have never seen proof until it has been put up on the SAAFL website

1981 - A8

Croydon (36), West Croydon C (30), Glenunga C (24), Rosewater C (24), Para Hills C (22), Greek C (10), B.H.O.S. C (9), Ethelton C (8), Old Ignatians C (3)*, Scotch OC C (0)*. Old Ignatians and Scotch lost all premiership points up to and including round 15, the date of the ‘phantom match’.

I always thought Pulteney was one of the sides.........
