Very good post Nearly Was, exactly the reason Scotch and SMOSH want to go down. Still, no guts no glory and I reckon if you think you can handle it it is a great opportunity. There is little certainty in football and moving up a div like this is a gift. You could be the best side all year and miss out on a GF like PAOC or us to a certain extent last year.

They did it to our C Grade last year when we wated to player lower as 90% of the side was deaf and look at the results 0 wins and an average of a 25-30 goal loss each week but we had to play C1
We were told we had to be C1. Show some balls Zoolander and put Heardy in his place.
He nominated D2 now he has to wear it

Are you incapable of reading the posts Fourth Estate. No-one has nominated for any Division let alone Scotch OC. Nominations take place no later than February 20th for this season. As Scotch had not nominated for D2 and have accepted the rules of finishing 10th, they are taking their rightful place in D3. Scotch nominated for D3 before the acceptance date of February 20th as they were required to do. All Scotch OC had done before this date is void before the nomination period takes place, as it holds not legal grounds under the constitution of the League. Difficult to put someone or a club in their place my friend if they have not broken any rules or legislation

I believe clubs were asked to submit nominations toward the end of last year.
The February 20th cut off date is in place for those who wish to submit C/D grade sides (and for clubs looking to have two teams in Div 7), thus giving them time to see whether they will have the numbers.
