The publicity will be great for the whole league! The SAAFL have a lot to gain by getting free (positive) media coverage and having a couple of thousand people to a rd 1 game. They would be fools not to try and make this work!
I really hope it is D Jarmen V The Roo

Honestly i have no idea if the great Jam Jars will play. He has not said yes or no. But Jarmen will only play himself if he thinks its for the benefit of the team (winning a game not pulling a crowd). I think hes holding out to see what the side looks like and if he is a best option he will play himself.
TT can you give me an example of another teams request? I would assume this game on Coopers stadium hadnt been thought up over night.... It wouldve been a long process and a lot of hard work and yes sucking up. But i also assume PAC wouldve had a deadline to get back to Coopers Stadium to lock away a date. Did they see PAC name and jump through hoops NO. They made them play their finals at Theb oval last year and that alone probably cost them a GF spot. Come on boys lets be realistic.

Flipper wrote:IF dont get your knickers in a knot i shouldve said GF spot Portland were definatly the best team in Div 4 last year. But thats not that point im trying to make im trying to say college teams dont get treated any different from suburban clubs and by having to play finals at Theb and not home ground they were disadvantaged. I do honestly believe if PAC played Mitcham (in the same final/conditions) at their home ground 7 out of 10 times they wouldve won that game. Cant knock home ground advantage. Seriously.
