Haha.

I think he'll snuff it before he retires! In the position he's currently in, why would he walk?

But on the topic of managers who call it waaaaaayyyyyy out of kilter to what actually occurred on the pitch, Fergie is right up there, second only to that wrinkle sack from hemorrhoid stadium down the road and followed by daylight, moonlight and the dull glow from my bare white ass.

When it comes to whinging and being disrespectful to the opposition, those 2 are in a league of their own.

would love the day that fergie goes, or is given the arse. But yes why would he want to leave in the position he is in. Wouldnt mind seeing Jose Mourhino take over liverpool,

But on the topic of carling cup final, dissapointed to see Man United win it, as much as i hate both teams in the final it would have been good to see the spuds win seen as Man United look to have every cup wrapped up this season :(

Ben Foster is a wonderful keeper, hopefully he is over the injury problems and can eventually be our #1. Nice to win this minor trophy and hopefully a team that wants to play in Europe will qualify via the League now.

Also... Pavyluchenko.... you won't be playing for Man Utd any time soon champ.

No, he's not:

Not even Gomes is that retarded.

Thought you said you weren't going to celebrate?

So are you saying that Spurs didn't want to qualify for Europe? Are you saying we don't want to play in Europe? And FYI, if we win our game in hand, we're **** behind the league qualification spots.

-EDIT- Beat Boro on Wed, and we're just 5 points behind the Spam in 7th. Spurs are a FAR better side than the Spam and all those in between. Time will tell.

Perhaps go back and read the article. Then come back and show me where Pavlyuchenko actually says "I want to play for Manchester United"

P.S. Do you work for the Sun newspaper? If not, I'm sure they'd be interested in taking you on.

And if I hear one more twat faced Utd 'supporting' cock bag say that Utd only put out their second 11, I'm going to ******* nut someone.

Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Ronaldo, Tevez, Scholes, Giggs = 7 first team players. 7. SEVEN.

Evans is playing regularly in the big games for Utd. Nani features regularly, as does O'Shea

Now compare Spurs side:

Gomes, Corluka, Assou-Ekotto, Dawson, King, Lennon, Jenas, Zokora, Modric, Pavlyuchenko, Bent.

This 11 have all been playing regularly, with the exception of King, but I'm not hiding the fact that he's our best player and even at 1% fitness, he's world class.

BUT, add in those that WOULD have started had they been eligible/fit: Woodgate, Palacios, Keane, Defoe.

So to the prawn snadwich brigade, I say, choke on a man pickle you wankers.

Giggs and Scholes......hardly first teamers mate.

Apologies to you as a Spurs fan but how shite is that ex-b4st4rd Bentley. FFS. 50k a week and can't hit the target from 12 yards. My 4 yo grandson would have at least forced Foster to make a save.

What a tosser.

I honestly had no interest in this one. Just kept hearing that tune in my head "It shoulda been me". Put sky on to get the results and the news channel was showing the penalties. I mean, wtf do these guys do all day, does no one practice taking penalties or what?

And how quick did the Spurs fans vacate the stadium. most seemed to have disappeared before the team had finished that long walk. At least if the Clarets had been there, we would have spoiled Utds after match show.

i tend to agree with DA on this, united deff didnt have there second team or B grade whateva you want to call it on the field in the final, maybe not a full squad but still had 85% of there best team on the field.

For starters, how am I celebrating? I said it was "nice to win"... it is always nice to win a Final...

I also know we didn't pick a B team.

My comment about Spurs not wanting to be in Europe was down to them fielding a very weak team for their 2nd leg UEFA Cup match recently.

Foster is also a very good keeper, the goal you posted DA was from years ago... even the greats make errors from time to time so you can't exactly write him off because of that. I would love it if he was eventually took over as #1 from VDS.

Also you can hardly whinge about Fergie's whinging when your gaffer is as corrupt as they come. ;)

Agreed. Bentley is a batty boy who doesn't care. Shits me to tears. How any professional footballer can not at least get the ball on target from the spot is beyond me. I do blame 'Arry for that too though - he didn;t practce penalties before the game, WTF not! IDIOT!

The Chav fans left Wembley before the game finished last year. But I can understand why fans don't want to see their team receive losers medal. It's like rubbing in the shame on the non-achievement. Personally, I would have stayed because it;s Wembley, but I'm a touch odd.

Have also been rumours in the past the Martin O'Neill would be Fergie's successor ... If they had him in mind whilst he was at Celtic, his performance at Villa wouldn't have done his chances any harm either.

Spurs had to field a weak team for the Shaktar game. We had a VITAL league game on the Monday prior, then a cup final the following Sunday. We have serious issues with eligibility due to players being cup tied etc, plus a couple of injuries. 'Arry had to play that side in the wafer, because had any players like Woody (injured anyway), Daws, King, Gomes, Bent, Pav been injured on Thursday, we'd have been ****** for the cup final.

Anyhoo, Man USA are going to win everything this year. It's ridiculous how good they are. Can't deny the fact that they're an awesome side.

Top manager O'Niell. And United could do a lot worse. Although I wouldn't be suprised to see Micky Phelan step up, depending on how many more years Fergie decides to work on.

Liverpool was at thier most successful when they blood managers from within. Fagan, Paisley. OK, Evans was a bit of a let down but the exception proves the rule.

The contrast being Man City.

Hmm hard to know if those managers benefitted after the Shankly era (and subsequently each manager before) ... Effectively they were all involved across a great era.

Agreed, but I think they also dbenefitted from a club ethos too.

Something that has been /is lacking inmost EPL clubs (read most league clubs), with the short termism that exists today. Very few managers around have that affinity with the club they manager.

Dario Grady and Crewe is another that springs to mind.

And you have to admit, Fergie is Mr Man U. Phelan has been a Man U boy for a long time. Left the Clarets in 85ish and went to Norwich for a spell before moving on to ManU. And he would have seen Fergies work and methods at close hand, particularly since being promoted to assistant.

not heard of this one, but why would Villa let martin go seen as he has taken them from below mid table to top four at this stage
