Apologies to you as a Spurs fan but how shite is that ex-b4st4rd Bentley. FFS. 50k a week and can't hit the target from 12 yards. My 4 yo grandson would have at least forced Foster to make a save.
What a tosser.
I honestly had no interest in this one. Just kept hearing that tune in my head "It shoulda been me". Put sky on to get the results and the news channel was showing the penalties. I mean, wtf do these guys do all day, does no one practice taking penalties or what?
And how quick did the Spurs fans vacate the stadium. most seemed to have disappeared before the team had finished that long walk. At least if the Clarets had been there, we would have spoiled Utds after match show.

I'm gonna lock this thread now, just to preserve that last post. Bully agrees with DA. WOW

I also know we didn't pick a B team.
My comment about Spurs not wanting to be in Europe was down to them fielding a very weak team for their 2nd leg UEFA Cup match recently.
Foster is also a very good keeper, the goal you posted DA was from years ago... even the greats make errors from time to time so you can't exactly write him off because of that. I would love it if he was eventually took over as #1 from VDS.
Also you can hardly whinge about Fergie's whinging when your gaffer is as corrupt as they come.

Liverpool was at thier most successful when they blood managers from within. Fagan, Paisley. OK, Evans was a bit of a let down but the exception proves the rule.
The contrast being Man City.

Have also been rumours in the past the Martin O'Neill would be Fergie's successor ... If they had him in mind whilst he was at Celtic, his performance at Villa wouldn't have done his chances any harm either.
