Had an interesting comment made to a player who had been found 'not guilty' which I thought was in poor taste, completely unfair and unneccesary.
I'm not going to disclose publicly what was said, but I will pm questions, suffice to say I believe one member overstepped the mark with a statement he made.

Very interseted to hear it mate, had a case 2 years ago against Gaza that was very, very badly handled and opinions given by tribunal members that actually impeded the hearing when clearly out of line.

Cheers mate. Thats the thing, ive only ever played for 2 clubs, Salis Nth and Paralowie. My parents have been heavily involved in both clubs while ive been there. At the moment, all my mates play at the Roos and i dont drive (have a scooter) so playing in another league is highly doubtful.

Surely there would be alot of interest being shown in this from a few clubs who have players sitting on the sidelines because of this ruling. We have a bloke who can not play because he has been suspended twice for a combined total of 13. The only reason he hit the magical 12 game mark was because the second incident he could not make the tribunal hearing and after sending a letter in asking to be excused because he worked arvos and was casual they still slapped an extra 2 games on for not turning up.
Surely will open a can of worms

Its highly possibile that it could eventuate to absolutely nothing and ill still be on the sidelines. Unfortunately thats the way it goes but all i guess I can do is to search every option in the hope something may come up.

are you able to take on a coaching role #3??
even though it wouldnt be the same as playing means you could be more involved with ya mates then just watching!

No, suspended means that he would be unable to play an active part in any SAAFL game.

Im aware of that
but that could be something that if the SAAFL doesnt allow him to play again, he could look at negotiating or asking as that way he could still involve himself with the club!
