Crazy season for Spurs fans. Have spent the whole season worried about going down and now here we are 3 points from seventh spot.
If Sunderland could win this week a Spurs victory would go a long way to puting Newcastle down.

Remember, Spurs only had 2 points on the board when he took over, and now here they are, a breath away from European football.

Spurs will likely finish 7th-8th.
Give us 38 games with this form next year and Arsenal will be enjoying the Europa League in 2010/2011 (barring some **** poisoning our lasagne on the final day and costing us 4th again)

Can you give me a quick recap on the food poisoning incident? If it's not too painful! I remember hearing something about it at the time, but not the details?

On the last day of the 2005/2006 season, Spurs were sitting pretty in 4th, 1 point ahead of Arsenal in 5th. We had a trip to West Ham, where a win would have seen us secure Champions League football. The team stayed at the Marroitt hotel in east London prior to the match, where a number of players had lasagne for dinner on the night before the game. On game day, 9 NINE of our first team players fell ill with food poisoning and were unable to play. We subsequently went down 2-1 to Wet Spam and the Gooners defeated Bolton I think to clinch 4th. The incident is referred to as 'Lasagnegate' and is probably 2nd only to the Sol Campbell incident in Spurs fans most bitter memories.
There was a full police investigation into the incident which cleared the hotel of any foul play. Personally I don't buy into that crap at all. NINE players..........someone had a hand in it.

And another thing, would it have been easier (in hindsight!) to take a coach on the day of the game at West Ham? I mean, they're both London clubs. How far are we talking? Obviously I've never been to London!
