I have the same instincts as my friend Dexter, they rarely fail me!

..and what is the status of subscriptions at the club?
..before i throw any money at a bottomless pit i want to know WE are all in it together.."we" including the ovingham players..i think donators should know what the club itself is doing to address the money situation before asking everyone else to supply the "moolah"
my 2 cents
dont hate..just debate

good point Zed. i think at the moment too many blokes are willing to watch on and not dip into their pockets, as has been said before we have around half the blokes who haven't paid subs, which is 1 underlying problem, with this rectified we would have close to enough to cover it i reckon. lets see, we have approx 50 players at a guess, without seeing the list, if half have paid then that leaves 25, if those 25 paid their $150, we'd have $3750, bang. almost covered! this is one of the biggest problems we have atm.
we are going to organise a quiz night very soon and will post some details on here. maybe if we can offer something then we will get some more support!

So does that mean we're out of luck or will the concience insist that you still "kick in"?

As Jerry McGuire said "help me help you". I'll put in once subs are paid. If they can't get their own people to help, there will be a real battle to get people who are indifferent to Ovingham's plight.Jimmy_041 wrote:zedman wrote:nuggety goodness wrote:zedman wrote:how much money have the ovingham players contributed?

Have to agree - I didn't know that so much is outstanding from within the club.
Fix the problem of subs and I will come to the party

Can someone tell me the 'raison d'etre' of the Ovingham Football Club?
