just terrific effort from them and we really appreciate it!!!
we also ran a canteen this morning down at our club for the Blackfriars school teams and pulled in just under $300.00 so it was a good day all round for us.
at this rate we'll be out of the red in no time! again a big thanks to the Henley lads...

Total of pleges paid $1400.00 plus the guys have raised around the $1500.00 mark through the canteen, bar, barby & raffles
We hope they'll be okay with some extra time to consolidate.

I have just been advised that the Adelaide University Football Club are donating to the cause, a full "set of golf clubs" to sell probably on Ebay and Ovies get the money from the sale. How good is that! Many thanks to Uni's for their generous offer.

Keep this fund raising going for years to come and you'll never be in this position again!

exactly right! the Saturday morning school footy has always been there by i never knew about it until recently, now that's going to be a permanent fixture as it is easy money, plus it means we aren't always on our boys to dig into their pockets more...
then once we get a few functions going at the club too we should be fattening our bank account so we'll get through this. only a little bit to go now and we're out of trouble...

Making sure it doesn't happen again is the next challenge, getting enough people interested enough to keep the momentum going is another but they're on the right track at the moment.
