Rudolph would be a huge in for Glenelg for finals. One of their best and most important players last year IMO.

I reckon as our backlines line up we'd be caught short if Grima was playing. Without McLeay and Thurstans our backline lacks height. Looking forward to a great day and great atmosphere.

RUDOLPH
Good to see the Ponytail back, but if he eventaully replaces one of the back 6 for GL it might send the wrong message
Surely the only way Rudolph gets a gig is if there are some injuries in the GL back 6

TRENGROVE
This ridiculous farce of having League footballers going back to play college footy so close to finals is beyond my comprehension
With a potential minor premiership at stake, I find it absurd.
As well as that the SANFL public has been robbed of seeing an extremely talented footballer in action

Rain is forecast; this will nullify any height advantage.

I agree. More to the point though is when are these colleges going to stop interfering with the development of these youngsters for their own selfish purpose, just to give their school a better name. This kid is playing league football, and will be drafted next year. Who does this benefit??. Not him or for that matter Sturt.

I got no idea whether it is the case or not but is it his choice to go back and play this college game? Some kids may enjoy the final chance to play with his school mates.

Spot on bloods. He's chosen to go back and play one last time with his school mates and good luck to him. He's probably gone the whole way through school with these lads and would have some very good friends.
I'll try and find the story l;ink in which the school says they will stand by whatever decision he makes and the club say the same.

My point was that with Grima out the height isn't so much of an issue, also to a point Sellar playing for Adelaide, normally our backmen would probably be too short for so many big forwards.

Grima was replaced by Duldig who's only a cm shorter at 191, so moot point really.

As pointed out on db/org, we're in a spot of bother if we're relying on a 17 year old to deliver us the minor premiership.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

accepted SJABC. You guys always seem to have 3 tall forwards that have been hard for our backmen to handle, now without McLeay and Thurstans it'd be even harder if all were playing, just an observation

OK I can cop that if it is his decision but surely I would've been better for him and Sturt if he missed last weeks game. I mean if given a choice Sturt would rather him be available against us than West.

Voice three years ago Trngrove was still living in Glenelg's country zone so his time with his PAC peers is not that long.
