With a potential minor premiership at stake, I find it absurd.

Spot on bloods. He's chosen to go back and play one last time with his school mates and good luck to him. He's probably gone the whole way through school with these lads and would have some very good friends.
I'll try and find the story l;ink in which the school says they will stand by whatever decision he makes and the club say the same.

As pointed out on db/org, we're in a spot of bother if we're relying on a 17 year old to deliver us the minor premiership.
