For me this week Pultney too good, would expect them to win by approx 5-6 goals.
to say that i was diapointed, like many other plympton 'past players' (me at the ripe old age of 27), this one really really hurt. I played the year in div 4 wehn we didnt win a game in A Grade and this hurts 100x as much.
WOS played the game well, and they were well coached. Homework was done on Plympton as in the first quarter they really tried to rough Plympton up, it seemed to have scared them, as it had done all year. The sides that showed physical pressure to the Dogs were the sides that beat or came close tot he dogs this year.
I hate to label them, but i will... SOFT.
soft, soft, soft...
The coach knew it too, he asked me 3 weeks ago to put a write up in the e-newsletter how soft Plympton were, in the hope that it would send a rocket up the players. So it was an issue that the coach knew about, and i think so did WOS.
I left at the 10m mark of the 3rd, heart broken.
Well done Westminster, you did your homework and you deservedly got up.
Plympton need to take a few tablespoons of cement.
