I would like to see Watson play a full consistent year of pura cup making both runs and taking wickets on a regular basis.

With Stuart Clark's brilliant form and the unlikeness of Lee being dropped this would enable them to play three quicks and two spinners. Martyn or Clarke would be the guy to be dropped with Gilchrist batting at six and White at seven giving the team more batting depth if MacGill played.
I understand White's bowling isn't up to international standard but he would be the second spinner Warne would obviously bowl a higher percentage of overs. Plus White has the system line in his favour playing underage for Australia plus Australia A.
Just a thought

WHUFC :Watson has had a couple of biG seasons with the bat batting 3 fOR QLD.
My only issue with him is that i would like to see him have big seasons with both bat and ball in the same year. Becuase if he was selected in the test side it would be as an ALL ROUNDER.
I would love to know the stats on how many times he has hit more than 100 runs and taken at least 6 wickets in total for one game over four innings.

Very good shot but should have only been 4. Why does the boundary have to be brought in? If it doesn't clear the fence it doesn't deserve 6.

I have to agree with you on this one RR.
However the same shot on English grounds would be in the grandstand

When 3/4 of this team are finished in 24 months time WATSON will be
in the side, so groom him now.
Hes only played 2 or 3 tests thats why hes made no runs/wickets yet.

In first class cricket. Test cricket is a different level again.

When he plays a dozen tests we can rightfully adjudicate.
