Finishing touches being put on it as we speak, I believe...

Would expect out within the next couple of weeks, for sure...

Wouldn't surprise me to see 4 byes again.
4 Saturdays for gardening!
Not sure why it needs to be.

Round 1 where all teams play on the same weekend, complete with some sort of promotion that recognises the start of the season?

To me,
2 byes + 2 split rounds = 4 weeks or a wasted month of the footy season.
Why?
I though winter was the footy season.
Maybe the players just need a good break every few weeks.
IMHO a bit soft compared to past generations of players when the standard was higher and the players tougher.

Softly ,softly,on the Roosters,
any team can rise and rise with a bit of form and confidence these days,
good old Westies proved that this year.

Garbage trumps merger.

Agreed. Said at the time in the late 90s when I was a part of the Roosters Against Merger that I'd rather come bottom every year than win 20 flags in a row as a merged entitiy. Still think no different, IMHO still a pathetic effort and easy way out for shitty clubs with shitty supporters/members.

People in the Woodville Oval glasshouse should be very careful when throwing stones.

Depends what you like to throw, or toss, for that matter. ;) Too much tossing can affect your vision, so they say. Good to see you're not that practiced.
All good, mate play on. :)
