Might've been a Woodville v Torrens match when he jumped the fence after the final siren and went after some fans behind the goals who were mouthing off at him.

As if a fence would stop 'Mad Dog!'

Got sacked (again) for that...

It was indeed at Thebarton. He went to jump the fence after the final siren but actually didn't. Never seen a crowd scatter so quick. They had been throwing water filled bottles at him amongst other things. Didn't play many games for the Warriors, but was generally pretty disciplined and played some good footy. 1985, from memory.

Reakon you're right, G-Dub.

Know Geelong tried to sign him.

Maybe that explains my confusion?

Still in a daze after the Lakers/Queensland double...

You're right nickname. I'll change that to son of Bloods 1959 Grand Final player, Les McKinnon.

Anyone else see the highlights of the last quarter of the Sturt v Centrals game from 1982 during today's telecast?

Sturt apparently were up by 12 goals during the 2nd quarter but the Dogs ended up winning by 2 points

Some interesting names mentioned - Michael Wright, Greg Edwards, Stephen Trigg, Michael Graham, Frank Spiel, Andrew Zilm, and a few others.

Daryl Hicks on the sideline as coach.

I loved that era of the SANFL :D

Spelly, do you have any quarter by quarter and goalkicker details from that game? :)

It has been mentioned somewhere here before GWW.
I think it may be the biggest comeback ever ?
I saw the highlights and actually spotted myself and my uncle behind the northern goals........great memories.
I would like to point out that Wilbur Wilson missed the big sticks by a good 2 metres and was given a goal !!!!!!!!!!
Was good to reminisce on some of my favourite players of the time in Ray Wilson, Chris Radbone and Tim Paech.

Tim Paech was an absolute GUN. does anyone know what happened to him and now ?
