Yep, and Woodville.

It was indeed at Thebarton. He went to jump the fence after the final siren but actually didn't. Never seen a crowd scatter so quick. They had been throwing water filled bottles at him amongst other things. Didn't play many games for the Warriors, but was generally pretty disciplined and played some good footy. 1985, from memory.Magpiespower wrote:Adelaide Hawk wrote:Interceptor wrote:Didn't Robbie Muir have a stint at Torrens?
Yep, and Woodville.
Might've been a Woodville v Torrens match when he jumped the fence after the final siren and went after some fans behind the goals who were mouthing off at him.
As if a fence would stop 'Mad Dog!'
Got sacked (again) for that...

Sturt apparently were up by 12 goals during the 2nd quarter but the Dogs ended up winning by 2 points![]()
Some interesting names mentioned - Michael Wright, Greg Edwards, Stephen Trigg, Michael Graham, Frank Spiel, Andrew Zilm, and a few others.
Daryl Hicks on the sideline as coach.
I loved that era of the SANFL
Spelly, do you have any quarter by quarter and goalkicker details from that game?
