How about the 'Barracuda's'?

Well Gold Coast has been refered to as the Lifeguards?, no idea about Greater Western Sydney. Does anyone know it??

Too early for GWS, but a new guernsey and possibly a nickname for the GC may not be too far away.
Hard to see them producing an appealing look if they stick with red and gold as their colours though.

I heard this bloke was going to be their mascot:

They played the GC theme song twice this morning on Brisbane Radio. Not too bad as far as footy club songs go...fairly inoffensive a big improvement on Sons of the Scray, We'll never stop stop stop and We're flying high but not quite up there with the classic Victorian models.

I'll go out on a limb here and say that I don't mind the reviled Freo Heave Ho. Listen closely for that little bit of lead guitar that they throw in there ha ha.

It does to a some degree.
Obviously a wave suits the GC location, but maybe some scorching flames would've fitted in with the Suns nickname better.

Overall okay, but not great (the main Suns logo is a bit lame).
