Btw what sort of pull could I possibly have. Your statement makes no sense big knight.

Always the odd exception.

Without knowing that stat, i would have said that this has been MVale's most unsettled year in a long time. 2 injury forced retirements, 5 blokes going to Sth Africa for world cup, and a host of other injuries have made going tough at times. Agree with your thinking though. A stable team over the course of the year definately a good thing for any team.

After Hackham's B grade got a hard fought win against Marion B grade on the weekend it got me to thinking about clubs depth, and how important the B grade is to the A grade teams success in September.
Keep in mind that most of say Brighton's B grade could play A grade (they are going for 3 premierships in a row) and internal competition for spots is vital to success.
For instance a lower ranked team A grader would be a B or C grader at a strong club, and vice versa.
This is the current ladder and number of players who have played A grade this year.
POS Club Players Used
1 Brighton 35
2 Reynella 39
3 Morphett Vale 34
4 Cove 37
5 Happy Valley 41
6 Noarlunga 41
7 Pt. Noarlunga 39
8 Edwardstown 42
9 Flagstaff Hill 34
10 Christies Beach 36
11 Morphy Parks 35
12 OSB/Lonsdale 33
13 Marion 47
14 Aldinga 52
15 Hackham 46
As you can see it has a factor on position on ladder.
It shows why
1. Morhett Vale should be favourites this year
2. Why Flaggys are big improvers
3. The trouble the bottom 3 have getting a settled structured team on the park (no excuses by the way just a bored observation)
Thoughts???
