I don't reckon he was this year Animus to me Glenn Mount from TTG is the best player in the Div 7R comp and massively stiff not to get the medal but that is just my opinion.

However on behalf of MLFC I wish to pass on my congrats to both Wes and Chad Bourke on their wins last night =D>

Agree on Glenn Mount......if he played every game he might have got there. Missed quite a few

How old is Wes Legrand?? Is this his 6th or seventh medal? Maybe when he retires they should call the Div 7R Medal the 'Wes Legrand Medal'??? :P

I don't disagree that LeGrand is a very good player, but this years count along with previous years lacks integrity. I saw Wes play once this year and do believe he deserved the 3 votes, but 34 votes for a bloke that missed a game or two is ridiculous and the fact that he doesn't always feature in his teams best players is a disgrace. I would be embarrassed if I was him. I have seen him play reasonable well in previous years and despite in my opinion not being in the best players he still got the 3 votes. He must be very close to the Adelaide Uni umpire. That bloke (the umpire) needs to be removed from that club, and until he is, the individual and team success of the D7R team will always be questioned.

You say he did not play in 2 or 3 games then that is staggering as he polled votes in 15 of the 18 games, which means he polled votes in nearly all or if not all the games he played in. Very odd or a very, very good player. Never seen him play so hard to make a comment on his ability

again, he generally picks the best players for the mail.
as for team success - i thought there are neutral umpires in the finals...

Finn, I am not disagreeing that the Div 7R side is a very good side, and you always go on about hey are just mates that want to play together. Fair enough. But, It makes their job a lot easier to finish in the top couple of spots and ensure an easier route through the finals when your club umpire is a blatant cheat and helps you get through the minor round in the best position possible. I recall two years ago Uni lost the GF in this division after clearly finishing minor premiers. Again, I am not doubting their ability and would probably finish in a high position regardless of the biased umpiring, but until you get a different bloke umpiring these games, the integrity of their results, and player votes will always be questioned.

This seems to be a regular topic every year and to be honest i dont even know why im wasting my time with this post ........... Who gives S*** how many times the bloke has won it until he plays at a level where he is even remotely challenged ill never have respect for him as a footballer. There are players at every footy club that look a million dollars on the track but are average players on game day ... and running round in Div 7 reserves is a walk in the park for any footballer with an ounce of ability

Chad Bourke should be $1.50 favourite and win his second medal. Having him at $2.50 will send you broke Warrior!!
Hope you shortened his odds! i warned you it would send you broke.

Was told last week Central United "b" grade where 6 goals up at 1/4 time, then one Glen Mount came of the bench for the second 1/4 and was best on ground for the remaining 3. If he played in the first 1/4 the result would have been different, he was also on 1 leg playing with a sore calf.

Mounty has a div 2 or 3 A grade medal and has played A grade from div 6 through to div1 winning B&F's just about every year, so i think he'd be spewing he didn't get that div7R medal

Interesting to see Adelaide Uni have 10 new faces from the last time they played Central United :S Might be the difference I think.

SHOC's played very well on a average Webb Oval. Glenunga made too many mistakes.

So what was your excuse for not making finals after winning 8 straight then?? Injuries didnt decimate you like you'd like to say that's for sure. :)
