$175 (plus flights, accommodation). Can get good Silver seats for $100. The 'ringside' seats are around $400+!

not bad there Mic I wish the Victorian Government would allow UFC here. Using Docklands they would make a mint with the near 60 odd thousand people there.

Been talked about for a while. Given Silva's penchant for making excuses, I can't see him agreeing to fight at 79 or 80 kgs, but we'll see. Silva still has to beat Belfort, and Okami then deserves a shot at the title. Also Sonnen will be able to resume fighting early next year after the testosterone supplement debacle and I'd like to see Sonnen get another shot at Silva given he spanked him for 4.5 rounds.

Not many left for GSP to fight, only Jake Shields at this stage.

It's been talked about a lot, but there finally are discussions happening between both camps

They are looking at:
GSP will come up and challenge Silva for his title (if Silva wins his next match)
Late half of 2011.

Just read an article that stated GSP will consider handing over his welterweight title to fight permanently in middleweight, so yeah, there may be no need to negotiate a fighting weight for the GSP/Silva clash.

Mic they would need easily 10 rounds but who do you think would win? I feel GSP would win just he is one of the best all round fighters I have seen in the UFC.

Lately Silva has be verrrrrrrry complacent about his fights.

He knows he can beat anyone in the division, so he just goes on cruise control. Against GSP he would step up.

GSP vs Silva would be the fight of all time.

Mic, I'm envious no doubt about it. I'd love to go, and no doubt I'd be in raptures when I was there. However from a sheer spectators perspective, the card is pretty ordinary. Mind you, the atmosphere will more than make up for it when you're in amongst it.

Please please please report back to us on what it was like to be there when it's all said and done.

Go George Sotiropolous!

BTW, Bisping will kill/flog/annihilate Rivera.

Condit Lytle match of the day for me.

How's Jewtuszko's MELON???

I only managed to get a ticket due to a nice random bloke who PMed me a password for the pre-sale.

Agreed, on paper the card isn't great. It seems to be what happens for many events out of North America. However, I reckon a few of the blokes are fighting for their UFC careers, if they lose they might be done. So that should make for some exciting fights.

Will certainly report back after the show, with some photos if they are allowed at UFC events.

Also, I reckon Silva would beat GSP if it happens next year. Would be a huge match!

The top four fights have a lot of promise without boasting high profile names. How many high profile fights have been fizzers of late?! Definitely going to be some big rounds and great finishes.

And how good is the main event? Penn an octagon legend taking on a fighter who is currently ranked in the top ten pound-for-pound fighters. If Penn is somewhere near his best it will be a cracker, but for me, Fitch will win by decision.

That's very true Quichey, some of the title bouts for instance have been pretty ordinary indeed.

I think Penn will beat Fitch personally. He looked very determined last start after some mediocre performances in title matches against Frankie Edgar.

Jewtusko must cop a belting in that head, it's a massive target, especially the alien bit at the top!

Cool, thanks Mic. As I said, I'm very envious!!! I'm sure you'll be able to take photos. Given the stuff you can do with mobiles these days it'd be impossible to police it.

Not long now, will be at the Payneham Tav watching the card if you wanna come down for a pint or two, I'll be in a Wallabies shirt.

Just looking at the odds (Sportsbet) and a couple of surprises - Maynard a clear favourite, Edgar worth a punt at $2.24.

Clay Guida 1.62
Takanori Gomi 2.25

Dong Hyun Kim 1.79
Nathan Diaz 2.00

Brandon Vera 2.10
Thiago Silva 1.72

Brian Stann 2.30
Chris Leben 1.61

Frank Edgar 2.24
Gray Maynard 1.64
