Saw LTJ once, over a decade ago. Probably worth checking them out if only for the teenage nostalgia.
Reckon I've got my day planned out (but festival plans often turn to shit). Gets a bit hectic toward the end.
11:45-12:15...Less Than Jake 1:25-2:05.......Pennywise 3:35-4:25.......Primus 5:20-6:00.......Social Distortion 6:20-7:00.......H2O 6:55-7:55.......Queens of the Stone Age 8:00-8:40.......Melvins 8:40-9:20.......The Bronx

36 Crazyfists are meant to be decent live and I'm not sure what time they're on but recommend High On Fire bit similar to the Melvins but more stoner metal, they're doing a NZ tour together before Soundwave and I think one of the Melvins old bass players was up until recently in HoF too.

A few clashes for me. bummed that Gang of Four & Primus are on at the same time. should bloody awesome though.
so far I have this:- 1:25-2:05.......Pennywise 3:35-4:25.......Primus 5:20-6:00.......Social Distortion ...then the last bit of Slayer 7:20-8:00.......Millencolin 8:00-8:40.......Melvins ...then the last hour or so of Iron Maiden.
like quichey, i'm open to suggestions for earlier in the day.

Thanks for that Wizard! Both look interesting. The sword remind me of early Sabbath & Sevendust seem like a modern incarnation of Living Colour. Probably check em both out!
Slayer pulled out of the Sydney leg at the last minute because Tom Araya has a virus. More than a few fans not happy about it. At least he has a bit of time to recover before the next lot of shows.
Looking forward to this, only have one clash to work around at this stage in The Gaslight Anthem and Slash, will probably watch all of the Anthem and catch the end of Slash. Heard on JJJ this morning that Slash is doing a lot of GnR stuff including Sweet Child and Paradise City. So many bands Im keen in seeing, but the legends Rob Zombie and Iron Maiden are at the top of my list. Early forecast is for 30 degrees. Beer catch up when there's a lull in proceedings (if there is one) perhaps?
Can't wait!

They'd better play here after pulling out of their Adelaide show last year!
