Re: SAAFL Div 4 & Div 4R (2011)
First round of clearances in and most major ones were already known, the Fitzroy boys to Glenunga, but Lehmann is leaving Unley? Might hurt them a bit, played well against us last year.

I would have too put my early money on a Salisbury V Unley GF.
Salisbury were a good side last year. They toweled up premiers Pooraka twice and if it wasn't for their bad start would have played finals and done some damage. Don't think they have lost many so would be my tip for flag favourites.
Unley, well these guys have been the silent improvers over the past couple of years. Always have a fairly solid b grade which shows good depth. If they get a few early wins on the board they will build confidence and have a real crack I reckon.
Unlucky to miss out: WOS, Heccies. I think WOS will improve a lot and play finals. Need some success to make that awesome decking worth being built!Heccies seem to recruit very well and have had two good seasons of success. Prob play finals but unlikely to head up another grade first up.
Greenacres I think will prob make finals but be no real threat. I here they have lost most of the talent they recruited from Salisbury West which happens regularly when clubs pay big money. Players go where the cash is and this does not build loyalty to a club. Unfortunately I think Greenies may follow suit to what Salisbury West have done.
Good luck to all teams this year, not long now and were into it.
lol is that why they left?? ah cheers for the insightful analysis its refreshing to hear the opinion of someone with no idea

Nothing planned as yet I don't think, but I can't say it definitely won't happen. The boys loved having Stewie back, and I think he enjoyed himself, so if he wanted to have another game I'm sure the club would be happy for that to go ahead.Maybe wrote:Any special apperances this year Pag like Stewie playing a cameo again ?????????????

How's Stewart go when he 'cameod'
I happened to catch the eye of him and his partner at the airport.. and let's just say he's been in a paddock that would have to limit his sexual positions. The pair looked somewhat expectant but his missus was carrying...

Re: SAAFL Div 4 & Div 4R (2011)
He was pretty decent, as you would expect an ex AFL player to be at Div 4 level. Just roamed around the forward line, kicked 3.4 I think, and played the second half with a no-good hammy.Footy Smarts wrote:Pag wrote:Nothing planned as yet I don't think, but I can't say it definitely won't happen. Weight wasn't an issue, nobody in that Pulteney side was able to tackle or stop him anyway.

Top five were Pooraka, Golden Grove, Greenacres, Unley, Salisbury, in that order.
