where is he actually playing mate?
I can't believe no-one has mentioned what an absolute crock of sh!t this is, This bloke has signed to play in another league but is allowed to play 1 game for his old club for whatever reasonIt was obvious that he was the difference between the 2 sides and later down the track this could affect ladder positions. I'm sure Woody South wouldn't be too happy if they were to miss out on a double chance or even the finals by a couple of goals worth of percentage, which this guy contributed to
Maybe all the clubs who have ex players playing in the mining leagues should get permits to play for when they're back in town.
IMO poor form by both Luthies and more importantly the SAAFL.

haha you would be surprised the number of players that do it. i played in a team where they got a former mail medalist of the league to come back and play in a centanary game. Roo and mods did it for the waikerie and renmark few yrs back akermanis is playing for 3 different clubs this yr. and it is irrelevant that those above mentioned are former afl players. and he wasnt the difference between the two sides. woody south got smashed out the middle. our defence played a great game. im sure woody south would agree in sayin that he was not the difference between the two sides!
Catters any comments on sat's game?

All the clubs effected by blokes working and playing up north should have a read of this then, staggering rules.Mr Beefy wrote:16.4.1 A player who:

If I didnt read this in the SACFL guidelines I would have thought Lutheran wrote this specifically for their bloke.

It's no different to an SANFL player getting dropped to the SAAFL once or twice a year for guest appearances because of the bye ect.....Lutherans obviously have built a solid relationship with the bloke over time and he feels happy to play for them when available. Good on them and good on him!!

Sanfl players can only play for their amateur clubs when they have the bye if they didn't play the week preceding the bye.
