Must admit I thought the same thing, can't believe a NAFC supporter would follow a magpies side because the are the same colours as Port  I played in PA magpies (primary school) and Colligwood colours as a kid because that's what my local one club towns colours were, not because of Port!!

Mate I wasn't saying there was anything wrong with it, just that it's pretty odd considering the loving relationsjip Port and North have.

That was my point exactly, as a North supporter I wouldn't have gone out of my way to support anyone in PA magpies colours but I could understand if it was your local club

Very disappointing result for the boys, they are a capable side with some star players, but struggling to put 4 quarters together by the sound.
Beauty of Div 5 this year is each sides just a win from the top 5.... but also a loss or two from relegation zone.

i thought up to half time it was very even. both sides had trouble getting a clean possesion. thats due to the pressure both sides were applying. then as jabber said probably the last quarter when pfc kicked away.. as like every lutheran side you are tall and some good runners... you love having runners of the back of packs and playing your talls (or ruckmen) cross half back.. dont think that game plan has changed for few years now... all 3 grades do it... regardless of that it was a bloody good of footy... both sides goin at it all day... always enjoy lutheran v pfc matches...

plympton b;s have now lost 5 in a row.. been a while since that happen... however they have alot of youngsters with a very different side then the past 3 years... they'll turn it around for sure.

Thanks also to lockleys footy club, good people and good facilities

The b grade umps were equal to the SAAFL appointed ump.
Glad you enjoyed the facilities TT. A few people have worked hard over the off-season to give the place a tidy-up.

Wub12 has Troy hilder retired. Did he play last year or did he hang the boots up a cpl of years ago. The grant the club received is fantastic. I hear bruiser had been working on that for a number of years. Will make the clubs facilities even better than they already are.

yeah he played last year.... retired at the end of it.. he is missed... top bloke and a gun player...
yeah its a fantastic effort by bruiser and the sub committee to aquire the grant.. goin to be very handy round the club, the club will be extended at the carpark end, make the home changerooms bigger. new lighting for the oval, which will be very handy as the current ones are junk... there is a few other thingsgetting done but there the big ones... oh and a disabled toilet outside....
they have have done a great job down the club.... i may be biased but i think pfc already has the best clubrooms not just in d5 but would certainly be up there in the whole of saafl.

I've always thought PFC have a fantastic setup even if the oval runs the wrong way haha. Should look fantastic when completed.

You can have the best club rooms (which I doubt) but if you don't fill it with the right people (players included) you'll be in Div 5 forever!!!

If PFC can get back on track, get the right people in place with the upgrades they can attract the right players to get them out of div 5.

What is happening with the Plympton B's? Have been a bloody good side over the past few years but seem to be lacking something this year...is the depth of the club struggling? or is it that people have retired?
Would like to haer some thoughts...

they are young side. i think only 3-5 players left (if that) who played in the GF last few years..actually i reckon it vcould be less. very young side. depth is pretty good at pfc, just getting them to gel them together will be the key..

They might start with a coach who doesn't try to blue with his players after a couple of frothies. I wonder if they regret not interviewing all applicants for the coaching job now? Ben Porter!
I don't think they have a problem attracting people to the club they have a problem choosing the right ones and then keeping/accepting them. I'm sure the extended club rooms and new lights will see them rocket up the divisions!

sounds like you are someone with a grudge against PFC. Did you train and not get a game down there champ?

Nothing wrong with PFC rooms and club. In fact the away changerooms are one of the best IMO. Unlike a few i was at i.e. Glenunga and lutherans/Brahma Lodge. Brahma lodge had ONE chair in the away change rooms when i played there in 07 and it was filled with tables and roach infested old BBQs.
