Your right westy for that coin they should be very good players on a weekly basis. There are many way's to judge a good player though seeing as most weeks these guys asking good money are tagged or sat on by the Opposition. Sometimes there are to high of expectations on players just because of the amount of money they are on which is just silly. I again get back to my first point if a football club is prepared to pay a player $500 plus a week to play footy good on the player for getting a silly amount to play & more fool the club. This will be a never ending debate on what clubs should and shouldn't pay for many more generations it's not going to stop. There are to many jealous people in today's society to let it rest i say play on and get over it!
You are a deep thinker. I didnt want you philosophy on life i was after names of blokes an clubs. The player should be accountable for the money he takes. Like Ricky Butler, kadina paid 600 for not much in return. Long plain last year got rid of a few paid players for not being up to scratch.
It should be up to each club and those involved to know what a player is being paid, not to be advertised on a public forum like this! Your "opinion" on whether theyre being paid too much/not enough would only be based on what you see and read. I know clubs that dont chase certain players as they wouldnt be a good fit both on-field and off-field. In country footy you need to look for players that will not only give on the ground but also during the week and after the game. From experience, players that just rock up to take the money dont last as the club itself does not embrace that person for not giving back.
