When a team recruits to cover losses - like Agars, etc. - is it fair when they return? Doesn't this make a mockery of the points system? Other teams have planned for the season, and all of a sudden the playing field isn't level anyore, especially if planning is hampered by injuries to new players. Is it fair Tanunda and Willaston get "get out of jail" cards?

Where it once was, the best league outside the SANFL.
The clubs that will struggle are the ones like South who lose 6 or 7 locals in one hit
But can only replace them with B graders or with their points.
This may only be one or two players assuming they already have players worth points
In the system.

Struggling to see what your point is here Hotty, any local lad returning to their home club after having a crack at league can only been seen as a positive whether its for the boxheads or any other club, same rule on this one applies to all clubs, better than them selling their services to the highest bidder.
Good to see that the BS about Wacka was incorrect.

i also find it hard to beleive seeing they are sitting in the position they are.
But also know for a fact of 2 previous coaches of the BLG have been approached allready to see if they were interested
This was relayed to me by a GCFC committeman

BUT I don't think it's fair that a guy who goes down to Adelaide at League level can waltz back into their local club immediately making them stronger when he fails, and when he has clearly signalled his intention to leave. The league needs to have a fall back system for this otherwise the points system is a mockery. One rule at the start of a season doesn't necessarily apply on June 29th.
So Agars comes back and takes Tanunda to a premiership, but clubs with less population and money can't compete with this; their planning for a season goes out of the window. THE PLAYING FIELD IS NO LONGER LEVEL, LIKE IT WAS AT THE START OF THE SEASON.
Sorry Swooper, but I won't get an unbiased view from you.
The Johncock saga is even worse. He's not even a local - no don't try and justify 25 games as a local.

It doesn't allow for the whims of players who make personal decisions in Juneon the basis of money.

Keep tanking until the Boxheads finish their time in the sun.
Enjoyed the hospitality last night Swooper.

Good luck to any player in this position if you can use it to your advantage, at any club. That doesn't make it right. Saga over!
This week -
Centrals too strong for South who need a coach badly to stabilize club. Centrals still have one - at the moment according to gossip?
Barossa and Kapunda - injuries at Bombers may make it difficult and it'll be wet, but Dogs luck will run out, Kapunda
Tanunda will beat Nuri - too good all over field.
Willaston will beat Freeling - Freeling too many still out, and Willaston confidence up. Mensforth v Taylor would be great to see.

Hot stop crying as Osam said if Agars was one of your players the rule would be the best thing since sliced bread.
Why stop players that are registered with a BLGFA club, played juniors for the club, has no points allocated to him if he comes back in round 2 , 4 or 10.
Any decent coaching panel would have know he would be back and planned accordingly
This weeks winners
Willaston v Freeling if the Donnies are to be considered a challenge to Tan they must flog Freeling-Donnies by 10 goals
South v Centrals South in a upset-tigers injury problems and knives getting sharper for wakka-loss and he may well be joining Spike
Tan V Nuri close game but Tan to win by 4 goals
Bar v Kapunda if played at Kap would win but down at willaimstown Doggies by 3 goals
Anyone going up to Pirie to watch the Country Champs
Never been before but might head up on Saturday and barrack for the Tanunda boys that are again all playing and make up nearly a third of the Zone team.
