Apparently Wade Nicholls will be playing for Pinnaroo in tonight's trial.
Which following his virtual absence for the Suparoos last year is good news.
Be interesting to see how he goes - one things for certain, he's going to give our rucks a lesson.

Pinnaroo belted Moorook as expected last night.
The Suparoos have a strong spine and a couple of good young midfielders.
Easy to get the ball though when Wade Nicholls is controlling the rucks. He was in fine form. Opposition teams are going to have to work hard in the centre square to get anything off him. Tapping skills amazing.
Wade's brother Chad also played and it looks like theyll form a pretty lethal ruck combo.
Clint Muster left the ground early - apparently hammy twinge.
There was a new guy called Bose (Boseley) I think his name was. A very solid fellow. Looked good at half back/half forward.
Also a young Gum (can't remember his first name) is back for the Roos after a stint in Adelaide (Sturt?)

Sorry to you Peake boys, but they looked a little better than you guys. Although they had more of their first pick players out.

Wade nicholls good tap ruckman but very predictable were he taps it .good midfields work him out pretty quick and pick him off, likes to tap to his hips to sunny alot and then gets frustrated when you pick him off and then just hits it long. does not do to much around grounds these days against good teams.Boseley will be good pick, came back to run family business i think. You are right about peake boys ,the mallee standard is better then paralowie recruits think . most locals play sport all year round and do not take football serious until they finished summer sport which could be up to march 31th this year,so trial game wont mean much

Might be.
Wasn't sure where he played last year.

What happened in that incident?

Torrens Valley were starting to get beaten by Kersbrook and a bit of a fight erupted near the boundary with O'Malley giving a couple out (and copping a couple). The fight broke up and Kym Pearce was running water and was mouthing off (nothing unusual for him) at O'Malley so O'Malley ran over to Kym and hit him!!! Kym kind of ducked so Mick didn't get him real well and then they wrestled for a bit before they were pulled apart.

You should have seen all the Pearce brothers run down from the clubhouse (at Nairne) and fire up!!! They were looking for a fight with anyone they looked at them!!! It was just like back in the 80's again!!!

I think O'Malley got something like 8 games for it, but I'm not sure.

just heard omalley will be playing for murrayville only got 4 games . so he will be getting under the skins of the mallee teams again ,but got the talent to back it up , dangerous small forward

You're right about Nicholls and his taps, they were predictable.....but there was slight variations. And you're verrrrryyy right about hitting Sunny too, did it a bit Friday night. Very quick hands still has Sunny.

Supa - I don't think Pinnaroo are playing Brown's Well. Someone from the Pinnaroo was joking about it on the field, and said fairly uncomplimentary things about them.

Mick O'Malley will be a good pick up. Always has been a cheeky bugger too ;) Clever player though.

If the Murrayville pick ups all come through - they could be a chance for another flag.
Karoonda on the downslide I'd think, losing sooo many players.
Peake will improve, but how much? It'll be interesting to see how the team gels.
