The only smokey is Nuri who specialise in B grade premierships and may still look at keeping players qualified and not worry about an A grade side that have no hope of beating the Blockies.

Nuri can qualify the players, but dont think they'l beat the b grade at willaston for the flag. Bring on round 18 none the less, we are in for a cracker finish to the finals

Maybe I was on the money.
Freeling would only hope he takes no one with him.
Or is he staying on as a player only.

He won't be there next year. Will coach in another league.

He's off to coach an ex-club for their centenary year. They have massive coin to spend too, so don't be surprised if he takes a few players with him. Schubert will be a monty to go with him if it all eventuates.

Thats the sad thing for Freeling, they dont have the best junior development because where they are based, compared to the bigger towns and the gawler teams. Then when you bring in a coach from another club and brings with him recruits from other places also, and they leave after x amount of years, then clubs like freeling are going to suffer. Look when scott leal took reins, he brought together a good side, once he left the players left and freeling didnt win for two years. Just got to blood the youth and hope in 5 years time, you reap the rewards.

Gawler Central v Freeling Can't see a young freeling unit knocking off centrals in the last game for Big Mal. They are blooding youth and that should hold them in good stead for years to come. Will Centrals rest players with niggling injuries for the big clash with tanunda in 2 weeks time. If supply to bova and hahn is good, they should be in for a field day. Gawler centrals 60-72
Match Winner Paul Bova

Kapunda v Angaston Angaston only playing for pride now, but will they have the points issue on there mind rather then a victory to cap off season 2011. Kapunda have 4th spot in there sight now, browny will keep it low key id say and have his boys ready to take saturday like it was just a normal match. Kapunda 30-42
Match Winner Brad Valentine

Nuriootpa v Willaston Match of the round should be a cracker. Nuriootpa have form behind them, and will be confident leading into this clash. Willaston have been disappointing the last two weeks, going down by a combined 168 points against finals opposition. Confidence for there part will be shot, and need to lift incredibily this week to have any chance of a top 4 spot. the winner of this one must win comfortably, to not have kapunda jump them if they win big over Angaston. Nuriootpa 12-24
Match Winner Craig Gogoll

Tanunda v South Gawler Well what do you say about this one, top versus bottom. tanunda are taking all before them in recent weeks, knocking willaston off by 90 points away from home. they have so many contributers on the park, and just gel so well together. South will be hoping to finish the season off with pride and atleast put up a fight. Its going to take a 4 quarter effort from them to just stay in touch with the maggies. Tanunda 90-102
Match Winner Sam Agars

Final 4
Tanunda
Gawler Central
Barossa Districts
Kapunda

you'd want to make sure you win a flag after spending that much coin. Personally, I can't see em winning it anyway.

Good on him if it’s true. It worked for Renmark a few years back.
