Are you comparing them to YOUR toilets & elite club?

You need to have a closer look around, We have a brand new dunny situated right behind the grandstand, as well as another block of toilets behind the northern goals, all you had to do was ask someone.

He also got the situation at the end of the game totally wrong with the bloke who went on the field to chat to Eagleton.

The bloke was standing near us at a various points of the game and appeared to be nothing more than a nuetral slightly Eagleton obsessed fan.

He went on the field after the game and tried to chat to Eagleton by the players race, was told to piss off by a couple of Norwood players and then started to point to his Western Bulldogs logo (not Centrals) at the Norwood blokes.

If that's the case, the SANFL redcoats need to lift their game.

I don't think the Norwood players would have been interested in differentiating the difference between a Western Bulldogs logo or CD doggies logo on an idiot who should not have been amongst the players while walking off the ground.

I wonder what the reaction from Doggies fans would be if an idiot got amongst the CD players while walking off after a losing game at Coopers?

I got the impression that he might be a sanga short of a picnic, wasn't out to cause trouble, just wanted Eagleton to know that he still loves him & that he likes The Western Bulldogs too.

The guy obviously meant no malice and it's unclear whether he was taunting or trying to show he was an Eagleton fan and wanted to say hi. I remember far less carry on when a fan swung his umbrella at the Gowans a few years ago. It's also common for players to take their positions early and stand around while fans walk off at the breaks. Thankfully I've not heard of any player getting hurt mixing with the crowds but one bloke talking and pointing at a logo after the game is far from the biggest issue the SANFL faces.

Just saw that on ALMOST FOOTBALL LEGENDS on the Footy Show.

For those that didn't see it, there was footage from a reserves game (I think earlier in the year or last season) that young Dogs ruckman Jack Hannath was playing in, the umpire was bouncing the ball in the middle of Elizabeth Oval after a ball up.

Hannath and the Norwood ruckman were tussling as ruckman do, going body for body, when the umpre bounced the ball into the turf and it came back up and whacked Jack fair and square in the face !!!

To add insult to injury, the umpire actually paid a free kick against Jack. I remember seeing that through the binoculars, doing the stats for that game, and I did have a good old chuckle about it at the time.

Obviously a relation of Jack (L.Hannath) has pulled this footage out and sent it into the ALMOST FOOTBALL LEGENDS segment on the Foot Show and it actually won the 1st prize with $500. Well done Jack, good stuff !!!

And what about the (so called) nwd suppporter who abused a nwd official while he was wallking to a game a few weeks ago and his abuse towards nwd players while they were walking back to their position at the end of breaks at the same game?

A friend told me that he also got pinged 25 metres for arguing which you only just saw the umpire about to pay before the vision cut off! I got told about the incident not long after it happened but until you actually see the vision you cannot believe an umpire could be so bad? Yep, from memory, the 25m penalty was paid, which I agree, made it one of the most bizzare decisions I have ever seen.

Had to happen sooner or later!

I recall a game I was playing in one day where one of our midfielders intercepted the bounce at waist height, on the run, and kicked a goal. The ump was told by the umpires supervisor in a break that it was against the rules and the same player was then penalised later in the game for doing it a second time!

That may be the case but in this example, how much space did the umpire need and what is "defined" as space? The umpire executed a crap bounce so to save his obvious embarrassment he paid a free but how could he possibly just penalise Hannath when he and the Norwood ruckman were "locked together" and Hannath was just trying to hold his ground as he was being pushed??? Bad enough that Hannath copped a "falcon" for doing nothing. It should have been a re-called bounce and that's all but the problem is that many of the umpires are crap, they love to be the centre of attention and are arrogant and never wrong so they never apply common sense!

Well that may be true if it went in an upward trajectory - it went on a 45 degree angle straight into Hannath's bonce! The umpire knew damn well he ****** up but again I draw to my reference re arrogance and never being wrong!

Yeah, that is true but the umpires are also instructed that if the two tussling ruckman encroach too much on his 'bouncing space' he should just throw the ball up. The umpire in question didn't do that and whilst technically, the free kick could have been there, perhaps balling it up again would have been best.
