If not, I'm sure the ASCA would be interested to hear how a team has registered a player without their knowledge or approval.

As long as he didn't require a clearance then Plympton have done nothing wrong. No club seeks approval for every player they register so why should Plympton have to for Akermanis to play?

He didn't owe the Western Bulldogs any subs.

This will test the keswick and turf rules out. Let's see how much they want to play tomorrow.
No rusty for the first week, been absolutely pissing down. Will they change it to marymount, will they leave it t Westminster, do keswick really want to play?

Umm, what rules? Securing another ground as an alternative in case of inclement weather was a gesture by Keswick, one that was made under no obligation and in the spirit of good sportsmanship to encourage the game of cricket to be played.

Why? We now have the best pitch and oval in the comp.

What did you B-Grade have to say about the pitch?

Loved the oval. Never argued with that. Westminsters oval is a cracker.

The pitch? Well when they found it, they thought it was alright at best. Couldn't tell the difference between the pitch andthe grass in the photos that we were shown

Ramblers 174 with lee Simpson 49 and benson 33. Will be nice when smithy gets going. Rob mccard 3 for 25ish. Morphy parks 0 for 13ish. Heard an interesting story about plympton coro today. Anyone who was there able to fill in the details?

ill fill in the details: the ground was deemed unplayable today due to plenty of sand being aroud the square. itll be a one dayer next week because itll be fair for both sides as the sand is apparently going to be removed by then. howd the other matches go?

There will be something officially sent to coro to thank them for everything, but from my heart I'd like to thank coro especially their captain jai. I personally am forever in debt to Coro's involvement, as a change of venue would have broken my heart after the work i'd put into next week.

I'm sure lots will be said about things but I'm not getting into that commentary.

Next week is going to be a big week for our club, and hopefully the association. I also hope Coromandel enjoy the opportunity to play against Jason Akermanis, I know ourboys are excited to play with him.

I extend an invitation to all clubs that finish early next week to come to the club and have a look.

Keswick all out for 106. Were 41 off 41 overs at tea and things never really got goin for them although Heath tried but fell for 19. Newbound hit 24 and was out in the 44th over after opening. Hoppy, callum and mark Whenan with 3 each and a stunning run out from a brad Christie run out from the boundary...ball bounced 5 times before it got to the stumps.

WYC had 6 overs to bat and are 0 for 37. J Whenan on 21* and M King 15*

Nice write up. I thought Callum put in a big effort, bowled a lot of good overs.

I'll refrain from making any 'Mickey Mouse' related comments. 2nd time in recent history? that has got to piss the club/you off. Good luck for next week and well done on organising such an event.
