Think they played in the city last year and like to play in the same team.

Will this see Media Mike get on the Mannum Roos bandwagon and we will see article after article in the Herald covering Harveys exploits. Very sad time for Media Mike and to be honest a sad time for Ango and the BLG but can you blame him, in the twilight of his career and a young family, the offer is obviously too good (probably not as high as being reported).

Thank you for the well wishes and flowers Skippy, a lot certainly happens over the Afghan New Year.
With the loss of Diddles and Pechy, Coach Hadden will now look to fast track some of his young guns in Wilson, Falland and Ryan from the shadows for the search of the Holy Grail.
Will also build his side around new recruits in Rulwolt and Cranston, while steady heads of Kurtz and Doecke will provide a launching pad to head north up the ladder.
Hearing Media Mike has already lodged his CV into the Murray River Standard.

No worries Osama, I will always be there for you. Sounds like some big recruits are on their way, it will take a bit to cover this big loss. Doecke going around again, the man is a freak and just seems to get better with age.

Yeah very interesting I thought too, thought it may have been something to do with him playing in another league. He is going to coach the Lions Under 17's side as well.

I see on the A2 SAAFL site that Jeremey Johncock has signed at Tea Tree Gully.
Willaston people have been talking up his return to the Donnybrooks so there must be some disappointed people at the Red & Blues.
Any news if Shaun Baker has re-signed at the Donnies or is heading down to Gepps Cross.

I thought he had signed with Port Disticts in Div 2?

Definately saying on the Div2 forum he has signed with Districts.

Anyone from Freeling confirm that big mal had a dust up with his former captain and others at the recent meet the coaches day.

Think you'll find that that happened last time, because Uncle Ian was the coach of Nuri .

Giving him a junior gig seems to be an innovative way to get around recruiting him. Maybe Uncle Ian wasn't the reason for him to leave Nuri in the first place.

1) Tanunda - Daylight between the rest, give them the cup now.

2) Barossa District - Return of Taylor and Christie will help them comfortably beat the rest and finish bridesmaids
3) Freeling - Big imporovers for 2012, Tyler to have big impact on club and recruiting.
4) Willaston - I think the new recruits were found wanting as the season progressed in 2011.
5) Nuri - Ready to go to the next step with this playing group, but loss of Taylor and Hamilton not replaced by Byrne. Maybe Tregenza not playing.
6) Kapunda - Loss of Nicholas and Cussadia will see the possible retunn and impact of Buckets minimised.
7) Angaston - Key losses of Harvey and Pech, but some good gains of Cranston and Ruwoldt will see them on par with 2011. Kurtz and Rathjen to lead.
Centrals - Could be the first year we see them not play finals footy. Losses to long to list at this stage.
9) South - What more can we say this time of year.

Think Willaston will surprise more than you think. Last years runner up has gained bigger players around the ground and has only lost a few fringe players. Heard baker may saty and McClean will go again too. Freeling will take time to gel like Willaston last year had to with new players and a new coach. Should be a good year though

Not sure about Barossa. If these are the only two in then they might be around the 4th or 5th spot. Many other clubs have recruited more than just two players.
Willaston to take the next step. The only problem being if they do, they will loose at least 6 points the following season.

Willaston
Tanunda
Freeling
Nuri
Barossa

The scary thing for the BLG is that Barossa had them 2 years ago and got a fair dinkum touch up on GF day by Tanunda. Like this year teams will be playing for 2nd spot. I would love to stand corrected!

But will Jesse Aish make a difference to the Doggies, as it appears they won the bidding war with Kapunda for his signature. The Bombers have been courting him for a couple of months now - seems they didn't offer enough? Must be disappointing for them to do so much work and watch another player walk for more money.
