Could be a very interesting race for 3rd this year,
From what I saw on Saturday it looks to be a quality 2 horse race this year.
Barossa are very good.
Days of, pinging poop at Benny from the cheap seats is poor form,
Both Angaston a's and b's were not suited to a small oval on Saturday,
Is easy to hang shit when you are un defeated as a coach but then you are winless too.
Perhaps you could offer your services as Bennys assistant, (SERIOUS), he doesn't have an off-sider
And your view of the game is usually quite sound.
Maybe money where your mouth is time???

when i talk about the new recruits mcdonald definately wasnt best, kellet never got a game and pepe was terrible probably cause hes only trained twice. be very interested to see how he goes against commane in a couple weeks. gordon has struggled in the worst forward line in the comp.

I was at the game and seen the incident it wasn't good. However lets not paint a picture that reflects jones as the only one chucking his weight around. Mussolino was the player who decided to run his knee's into the back of walton's head whle he was on the ground. Jones than stepped in. Both players should have been sent off.

I must say from what i witnessed yesterday Willaston will be a bottom 3 side this season. I would go as far as to say that was the worst game of footy i have seen of a willaston outfit in a number of years. They looked secound rate in all aspects of the game. There skill level by hand and foot was deplorable. Take nothing away from South they were very impressive and should have won by 10plus goals.

I went and listened to Scott Lee at 1/4 time and he was very impressive. Was very encouraging and to the point no ranting and raving. South will be a top 4 side this season.

It's way to early to be having pot shots at recruits, McDonald looked good yesterday he works really hard, he tackles and chases and will only benefit by playing more games with new team mates.
Gordon was beaten hands down, you can see he has ability but doesn't work hard enough. The delivery to him was second rate at best and again he will only benefit by playing more games with new team mates.
Pepe had a dirty day, haven't seen enough of him to make any other comment.

Watched the South Gawler boys play this year and could not help but notice the skills of Matthew Trzeciak, he really should be playing SANFL footy imo

I watched the game Saturday and I agree this Trzeciak can play but needs to get fit and then he could be a great BLG player and possible SANFL player.
Fair dinkium can't beleive South would put in a club report re the Musolino incident.
He took a cheap shot Ritchie at Sam Walton that should have seen him sent off and reported and Jimmy came in and evened up.
It was not a king hit and just a square up that in the old days would have been left at that.
If a report is laid over this I could see clubs keeping the tribunal busy each week.
Are we the AFL that reports players for pathetic love taps- stop whingeing and get on with the game.

Heard Barossa had 6 out of the A side against Angaston and they still got belted.
Should be the brooks first win.

Witnessed a reasonably scrappy game at Red Leg Park. The Blockies where certainly the best side but they certainly are not as good as the previous four season's. Both sides had some guns out but that happens every week. Look forward to seeing Barossa play to see who my favourite is for the flag but the Blockies are back a notch (still pretty good though).

If anyone thinks Barossa will get within 6 goal of the box heads, they are kidding themselves.

Wait for the season to reach its halfway mark before calling it the worst in the comp. If it remains the same, then they have problems down there for sure. The problem with the donnies is they allow A grade players to get away with not putting a full week on the track to a number of key players. Bet you wouldnt see Tanunda's players piss arsen about in the change rooms waiting for rub downs etc. For them to be a better team and take that next step, Justin has to pull this into line, too many guys thinking there a Legend and that training hard is below them when they get paid so much. Give B graders a shot, they put the hard yards in during the week LOL

Spot on Mohammad. Hey when is Big Mick Moss going to pull on the boots for your resies this year. Quality player in his day and would add experience to your 2's. Seen he was coaching your 17's this year?

Played against Mick, back in the day - fearsome.
I jumped over him once to take a hanger. The look I got after made me think it might not be wise to do it again.

Just out of interest have all the clubs filled up on points or are one or two clubs still able to add a player or two.

Two tough tipping games this week IMO, one would expect Tanunda to knock off Kapunda and Nuri to account for Gawler Central but the other two are hard to pick. Really not sure where Angaston and Willaston are this year and likewise with South and Freeling.

Gonna go with the following:

Tanunda - 40+
Nuri - 40+
Angaston - 10-20pts
South - 10-20pts

i'm tipping south to get up in a thriller and big trzeciak to kick 7, he's just starting to get the confidence up and looks like he could take the competition by the scruff of the neck in more ways than one

Not sure what game to watch this week as they all seem to be fairly close tussels

Ango v Willaston-Ango at home hard to beat-Donnies need to show comp they are the real deal in this game or season 2012 is over-Ango by 4 goals to further compound Willaston's woes
South v Freeling-South in a close one-hope Musolino can stay out of trouble this week
Tan V Kap-Tanunda by how much-a pleasure to pay the $6 to get in when you watch such a superb team play-Tan by 14 goals
Centrals v Nuri- Centrals struggling but great to see them still giving 100% but this will still not be enough to beat the Barossa Tigers-Nuri by 6 goals

heard in the pub last night Chris mcLean spat the dummy and walked out on Donnybrooks-Donnies out looking for a replacement and we could see Chad Norsworthy back playing sooner than later in a Willaston jumper
